Beard Micropigmentation 

The time it takes for a beard micropigmentation treatment depends on the size of the area being treated and the density covered. Generally, treatments can take anywhere from 1-3 hours and require on average 2 sessions.

On average, the results usually last around 3-5 years when using long-lasting pigments. For the best and long term results, you would be required to return for the colour to be topped up. There are a number of factors that can affect how long your results last for:
- Medication
- Sun exposure
- Skin type (dryness, oiliness, sun damage, thickness, colour)
- Alcohol intake
- Smoking
- Illness
 - Swimming (chlorine can bleach the colour from micropigmentation) 

Your practitioner will give you all of the appropriate aftercare in full after your treatment. You may experience some swelling/redness for up to 48 hours after your treatment. We recommend you do not swim, sunbathe or use a sauna/jacuzzi for 2 weeks after the procedure.  

Wash your full face on the day of your treatment and ensure any products are rinsed clean.

Ensure the area is dry and you leave plenty of time to get to your appointment.

Avoid large amounts of caffeine prior to the appointment.

Yes, Beard Micropigmentation is considered to be a safe procedure. The treatment is non-invasive meaning there are no deep incisions into your skin. The needles used are also sterile and disposable. To have this procedure you must be over the age of 18 years old.

Beard Micropigmentation is typically not painful. Most clients describe the experience as feeling like a scratching sensation. A topical numbing cream can be applied to reduce any discomfort if necessary.
