Most patients require one initial treatment followed by a second appointment to build up the pigment colour. Possible follow-up treatments in the future may be required if the pigment fades. Time scales for future top ups varies from person to person.   

On average, the results usually last around 3-5 years. For the best and long lasting results, you would be required to return for the colour to be topped up. There are a number of factors that can affect how long your results last for:
Medication
Sun exposure
Skin type (dryness, oiliness, sun damage, thickness, colour)
Alcohol intake
Smoking
Illness
 Swimming (chlorine can bleach the colour from the tattoo) 

This varies from person-to-person as everyone’s pain threshold is different. Some clients feel some discomfort and a scratchy sensation, yet others don’t feel anything at all.

Your technician will give you all of the appropriate aftercare in full after your treatment. You may experience some swelling/redness for up to 48 hours after your treatment. During the healing process you will experience some scabbing of the area. Please do not pick at the area as this may risk infection or pulling pigment out of the area. Try to keep the area as dry as possible during the healing process. We recommend you do not swim, sunbathe or use a sauna/jacuzzi for 2 weeks after the procedure.
